Arguments to drive you up a wall. First of many.

- I write fanfiction.

- Not very original.

- Hey, Homer did it, and Shakespeare did it.  Even the Bible is just so much fanfiction.

- So you're Homer?

- No.

- Shakespeare?

- Come on...

- I know.  You're writing one of the gospels.

- Don't be stupid.  It's just, everyone repackages stories.

- Tell me, who wrote the stories Homer repackaged?

- They were oral stories.  He heard then from other storytellers.

- But only Homer is remembered.

- Well, yeah.

- I dont...

- By repackaging other stories.

- Like a fanfiction writer!

- No. Like someone who takes that story and makes it original. Like Homer. Like Shakespeare. Like...

- You don't understand fanfiction.

- Maybe. But I know it doesn't have anything to do with writing the Bible.
