- The date has to be spelled out.

- But numbers make it easier to read.

- The time, too.

- And it's "in the morning," not "a.m."

- It means you have to squint through it to know when the event takes place.

- It's traditional.

- To make an invitation hard to read?

- Cuts down on attendance.
